British Transport Police sets new path for informant management

Nottingham, 15 November 2010 - The British Transport Police (BTP), the United Kingdom’s national police force for the railways, has awarded a five year contract for abmpegasus™ Source Management – the covert human intelligence source (CHIS) management solution from criminal intelligence, investigation and criminal justice software solutions specialist, ABM. The railways present a unique policing environment with very distinctive needs. BTP’s 2,835 police officers and 1,455 support staff police the tracks and provide a service to rail operators, their staff and passengers across the country.
