ABM Highlight the Benefits of IT Systems in Confidential Informant Management

1 February 2013 - Nottingham

We’re delighted to announce that ABM International Business Manager, Dawn Starling, will be delivering a presentation onIT Supporting Effective Confidential Informant Management’ at the National Marijuana Initiative (NMI) in San Diego next week.

On Tuesday Dawn will discuss how IT systems such as abmpegasus – the world’s most advanced and widely used CI management software – can help law enforcement agencies successfully manage informants and reduce risks to their reputations, officers and citizens.

Dawn Starling, ABM International Business Development Manager, highlights the benefits of IT systems in informant managment

With over 15 years experience in the IT law enforcement industry, Dawn discusses the benefits of using an IT confidential informant record system: “The benefits of using an effective IT confidential informant record system far outweigh their paper counterpart. Not only do they give all officers involved in a case the latest status and activity of informants, if files are kept to legal standards, the informant will be more likely to be effectively and lawfully managed and agencies will be able to prove what occurred in meetings with the informant to the satisfaction of a court. Such records also protect law enforcement agencies from allegations of incompetence and misconduct.”
